With the development of the pressure measurement and control system, the existing traditional pressure measurement products can no longer meet the requirements. It is usually required that it integrates the functions of information acquisition, information processing and digital communication, can achieve autonomous management, and has intelligent characteristics, which requires more Smart pressure sensor. Intelligent sensors generally have microprocessors, which have the ability to collect, process, and exchange information. They are the product of the combination of sensor integration and microprocessors. Usually, the sensory part of a control system is composed of multiple sensors, and the collected information is sent to the computer for processing. After using intelligent sensors, the information can be distributed on the spot, thereby reducing the system cost.

This paper briefly introduces the characteristics of intelligent pressure sensor and its powerful data acquisition and processing functions.

Sensor Features:

(1) The range and function of the sensor have been further expanded, which can realize the measurement of basic parameters and special parameters to meet the needs of different occasions.

(2) The sensitivity and measurement accuracy of the sensor have also been improved at the same time. For weak signal measurement, correction and compensation of various signals can be realized, and the measurement data can be stored as required.

(3) The stability and possibility of data measurement are improved, the interference of the external environment on the output of the pressure sensor is reduced, and the measurement can be carried out selectively.

(4) It can realize the self-diagnosis function, lock the faulty part in time and accurately, quickly identify the fault state, and solve some problems that cannot be realized by hardware.

(5) The signal output form and interface selection are more diverse, and the communication distance is greatly improved. The function of collecting and processing data of the intelligent pressure sensor preprocesses the output signal of the sensor, which must be done before the sensor becomes intelligent. Generally it requires the following steps:

1). Collect data and summarize the required information. Since there are many types of data that a system needs to detect, first collect the required data signals.

2).Converting data is to convert the collected and required information into a method suitable for the use of microprocessors. The original output signal may be analog, digital or switch, etc. The input quantity of MD conversion is not only composed of the output signal of the pressure sensor, but also needs a circuit to convert the output signal of the sensor into a unified standard signal.

3). Grouping data, effectively grouping data, this grouping is usually carried out according to the needs of the system.

4). Organize data so that it is easier to process and errors are easily corrected.

5). Calculate data, which requires the use of various arithmetic and logical operations.
