Usually installed on the barrel in front of the filter, before and after the melt pump or in the mold. Mounting elsewhere will either cause the sensor top to wear and damage, or the pressure signal transmission may be distorted.

Mounting holes are kept clean

The cleaning of the mounting holes can prevent the molten material from clogging, which is very important for the normal operation of the equipment. All sensors should be removed from the barrel before the equipment is cleaned.During dismantling, the molten material may flow into the mounting holes and harden, so we have to use a cleaning kit to remove these molten material residues, otherwise the second use will easily cause damage to the top.

Prevent pressure overload

Typically, the overload range of the pressure sensor is 150% of the maximum range.From a safety point of view, try to keep the pressure to be measured within the measurement range. If conditions permit, the optimal range of the selected sensor should be twice the pressure to be measured, so that even if the pressure suddenly increases, the normal output of the sensor can be guaranteed.
