Common scenarios of pressure sensors

A pressure sensor is a device or device that can sense pressure signals and convert the pressure signals into usable output electrical signals according to certain rules.

A pressure sensor usually consists of a pressure sensitive element and a signal processing unit. According to different test
pressure types, pressure sensors can be divided into gauge pressure sensors, differential pressure sensors and absolute pressure
sensors.
Pressure sensor is the most commonly used sensor in industrial practice. It is widely used in various industrial automatic control
environments, involving water conservancy and hydropower, railway transportation, intelligent buildings, production automatic
control, petrochemical, oil wells, electric power, ships, machine tools, pipelines and many other industries. .
01. Application of pressure sensor in weighing system
In industrial control, pressure sensing technology is increasingly being used in commercial weighing systems. In many control processes,
it is often necessary to collect pressure signals and convert them into electrical signals that can be automatically controlled. This
kind of pressure control device made with pressure sensors as the core component is generally called an electronic weighing system.
It is used as a material in various industrial processes. Mobile online control tools are playing an increasingly important role in
modern production.

In the automatic control of the weighing process, the pressure sensor is required not only to sense the gravity signal, but also to
have reliable performance, good dynamic response, and good anti-interference performance. The pressure sensor is integrated with the
measurement circuit through the integration technology, and the signal provided by the pressure sensor can be directly displayed,
recorded, printed, and stored after being processed by the detection system, and used for feedback adjustment control, which further
improves the degree of automatic control of the weighing process.
02. Application of pressure sensor in petrochemical industry
Pressure sensors are one of the most used measuring devices in automatic control of the petrochemical industry. In large-scale chemical
projects, almost all pressure sensor applications are included: differential pressure, absolute pressure, gauge pressure, high pressure,
differential pressure, etc...
The demand for pressure transmitters in the petrochemical industry mainly focuses on three aspects: reliability, stability and high
precision. Among them, reliability and many additional requirements, such as: range ratio, bus type, etc., depend on the transmitter's
structural design, machining process level and structural materials. The stability and high precision of the pressure transmitter are
mainly guaranteed by the stability and measurement accuracy of the pressure sensor.
Corresponding to the measurement accuracy of the pressure transmitter is the measurement accuracy and response speed of the pressure
sensor, and corresponding to the stability of the pressure transmitter is the temperature characteristics, static pressure characteristics
and long-term stability of the pressure sensor. The demand for pressure sensors in the petrochemical industry is reflected in four aspects:
measurement accuracy, fast response, temperature characteristics and static pressure characteristics, and long-term stability.
03. Application of pressure sensor in medical industry
Pressure sensors play an important role in medical patient record checking and minimally invasive surgical monitoring. Arterial blood
pressure, intracranial pressure, and intrapulmonary pressure are all important parameters in the medical process. In addition, the
monitoring, treatment, and health care required for medical care are inseparable from the accurate measurement of pressure sensors.
In addition to sophisticated medical and surgical facilities, medical supplies such as electronic sphygmomanometers that are commonly
used in daily life also use pressure sensors to achieve autonomous real-time measurement.
With the development of modern medical technology, pressure sensors used in the medical industry have higher requirements in terms of
accuracy, reliability, stability, volume, etc., which also promotes the vigorous development of medical pressure sensors.
