Cleanroom air conditioning systems are typically classified by air delivery method or air source.
Air purification air conditioning systems can be classified into three types based on air delivery methods: centralized, semi-centralized, and decentralized.
a. The centralized purification air conditioning system consists of an air conditioning unit (air conditioner) composed of primary and secondary air filters and thermal and humidity treatment equipment (fans, coolers, heaters, humidifiers), installed in the air conditioning room and connected via ducts to the static pressure box at the air intake of the air-conditioned room and the high-efficiency filters inside the box.
The cooling source for such systems can be provided by a refrigeration plant or chillers installed in the air-conditioning equipment room. The heating source can be supplied by a boiler room, heat exchange station, or electric heaters installed within the air-conditioning unit.
The so-called “central air conditioning” generally refers to the “centralized air conditioning system.”
b、 A semi centralized air conditioning system, in addition to the air processing equipment in the centralized air conditioning room, also has air processing equipment scattered in the regulated room to process the indoor air locally or supplement the air from the centralized processing equipment, such as inducer system, fan coil system, local laminar flow, etc.
c、 Distributed air conditioning system, also known as local air conditioning system. It refers to a system that disperses air treatment equipment in various regulated rooms. Each air-conditioned room uses its own air conditioning unit. The air conditioning unit concentrates the air handling equipment, fans, and cold and heat sources in one box. By connecting the power supply, the room can be air-conditioned without the need for separate air conditioning rooms and air supply ducts, making it compact and space saving.
